Part II - Statistics: This part consists of eight chapters. The first four provide an introduction to the essentials for all those coming new to the subject. The last four demonstrates the statistical (rather than mathematical) techniques used in management decision-making.
The aim of this book is to provide the course text for the first year of the many courses that introduce basic quantitative methods to students who do not need to be particularly mathematically-minded. It can also be used as a support text for quick reference.
