Our films is devoted primarily towards his own unique experiences with film making. It talks in detail about the making of Pather Panchali, which is one of Ray s greatest films and also contains many unknown facts, anecdotes and observations made by Ray regarding Indian films. Their films, on the other hand, talks about the films made by the western world since the era of silent cinema to the present times. Ray talks about some of the biggest landmarks in cinematic history throughout a long period of time and praises directors like John Ford, Charlie Chaplin, Akira Kurosawa and Jean Renoir.
